Brilliant
Summary: Brilliant
The Women’s were brilliant. I had a C-Section and they had music on which was so relaxing and I had loads of pictures on my phone so they’d captured the moment for me. I was consultant-led throughout my pregnancy as I had had many miscarriages previously which is why I was under their team. I stayed in for a week after delivery and it did become a little stressful as the ward was too cold and my son’s temperature kept dropping. They kept telling me to wrap him up but it was more of an issue with air conditioning and that did stress me out. On the ward there were a lot of people coming in and out so I didn’t get a lot of rest but I do appreciate the care. Something I did notice was that when I was breastfeeding I was becoming more and more hungry but they didn’t give you more food. My partner was having to go to the café’s and shops to bring me more stuff. On the whole though, the food was okay. During the discharge process all my papers were taken off me but you can access them online. I was thinking that that could be awkward for people who don’t have smart phones.
