Can’t get an appointment

I just can't get an appointment. I go in and they say ring up at 1. I tried for four days and then they said come here for 8am. I had to travel on public transport to get there and then I didn't even get an appointment. Eventually, I got a telephone appointment for the next day and then they told me to come in!
