Summary: Can't get through on phone system to book.

Tried to call my GP practice yesterday around 12pm was on hold for over 40 minutes and just hung up in the end as appeared there was no queue as the hold didn’t tell me my position in queue as usual just hold music. Every time i go in the GP surgery no one is there. Why is no one answering the phone ? I have received letter to book my smear test and it’s impossible to do.
