Last Thursday I tried to get a GP appointment as I knew I had a chest infection. These have been more frequent since I had pneumonia. I got an appointment and they said they could hear my chest all crackly. They only gave me 8 antibiotics as he said there was no wheezing but I knew that I was wheezing. You just don't get enough time to speak to the doctors. They don't follow up on anything. I have been told by different pharmacists that I should have a reserve pack of steroids and antibiotics for my chest, especially for over weekends when the GP's are closed. The GP hasn't done or said anything about this.
