As a senior citizen waking up at the crack of dawn can be hard however this is easier than getting a appt to see a dr at Hightown. Just getting though the call system at PC24 is trying 45/60 minutes to answer if your lucky. Then only to be told no dr or no appointments! Bad service compounded by long and difficult requests for repeat medications. it can take anything from 5 working days to 14. Then in between your missing important medications and go into withdrawal or worse. They just can’t meet demand! The clerk in the dr surgery is helpful as the bad system she is made to use. So can’t blame her she’s doing her best and the Dr is brilliant once you finally get to see them. I spent 3 weeks trying to get an appointment once. It’s like pulling teeth. The administration PC24 just run it on shoe string if they funded it better we as clients would receive a better service but I feel they do greedy they don’t serve those they should well.
