I struggle to communicate over the telephone, so it's important to see a GP face to face. Why do we have to discuss medical details with receptionists? Sometimes there are test results and they can say they are normal, but can't explain any more than that, so you need an appointment really to discuss this. In the past we would have been contacted with test results, now we are told if you don't hear anything then everything's ok. It's up to us if we want to get in touch and ask for results.
Why have physician associates been brought in? This seems like another barrier to getting to see the GP, the services offered are becoming basic.
