Summary: GPs good, phone communication poor.

GP clinicians are very good but are grossly overstretched by private companies employing them. Similarly, those same companies enforce a non-clinical regime worthy of Bergen-Belsen. Clinicians and patients are clearly a nuisance to be confounded, annoyed, contradicted and demoralised at every turn by phone handlers in particular. Face-to-face with receptionists can be effective at times.
