Renacres / Blundellsands surgery - I was referred by my GP to Renacres for an MRI scan. When I got there they tried to X-Ray me. I told them I had already had an X-Ray. My results were not there. The consultant spent about 3 minutes with me – what are they getting paid for? People are referred to Renacres and they have no transport and it is in the middle of nowhere. There was no patient choice. How many people are being referred here? This consultant gave just 3 minutes of his time. What is the cost to the NHS for using Renacres? My GP at Blundellsands is great and sorted this all out for me after I wrote him a letter. But I think the GP’s need to question the costs to the NHS.
