Ineffective audiology service in Southport.
Summary: Ineffective audiology service in Southport.
Hospital outpatients' appointments.
Referred for ENT appointment to check unbalanced hearing to allow me to be able to buy a private hearing aid as the queue is so long. It was an emergency referral. 8 months on ENT phoned to ask if I needed the (urgent) appointment. They seemed more interested in reducing their list than actually get me treatment. I need to be able to hear for work and study and life, so paid to get the long standing imbalances confirmed so I could pay £4k for a hearing aid that I need. There is ineffective audiology service in Southport. They may be great, I just didn’t get a chance to find out. By the way, I really object to the fact that their is more interest in which of x million sexual orientations and multiple genders is given so much prominence when you don’t ask, has this impacted your work, your study, are you in pain and you have to scroll down to find the most common ethnicity - it is not efficient or effective. Ar e you no t rather missing the point.
