Summary: Medication shortages at hospital pharmacy
All went fine at the dermatology appointment with the Dr/ consultant. I was given a prescription for medication 2 weeks ago, i went straight to the Rowlands Pharmacy at Ormskirk hospital and they had none of the medication in stock, a week later i took it to the Rowlands Pharmacy at Southport hospital and there was non in stock. I then spoke to the specialists secretary after i couldn't get the medication and apparently there is an alternative medication but I would need an appointment for treatment first at Ormskirk hospital. I am still waiting and i don't know what is happening. I know other patients who are in a similar position.
