The social worker is not responding to emails. **** was awarded funding to move into supported living but they wanted to move them to ****. They are from Southport. I told the social worker’s that they are vulnerable, they can’t go that far away on their own. They just said, ‘well, they will just have to wait longer now’ and then they didn’t like me again. They won’t even answer basic questions about the process. We asked them whether we’ll need to supply furniture and whether they can take their bike but they just aren’t answering. And because they passed their capacity test, their argument is that they can deal with them directly but they are a teenager in an adults body.
