When I ring at 8am, the line is closed or you're 18 in the queue and won't be getting an appointment. I walked down to the surgery and was told to book an appointment online. I'm not online so I can't book an appointment that way. Even when I actually go in, it's not busy yet there's no appointments. Two weeks I had to wait and there was no appointments. It's very rare if I'm lucky enough to get a GP to see me. They'll ask you to call again at 11 but there's still no luck. I have problems with my knees and they sent me to the Liverpool Road surgery. Don't get me wrong, they were lovely but I don't drive and it was 8.30pm at night. Even when you get an appointment, you never get the same one, I wouldn't even know which GP is assigned to me. They only give you ten minutes and you can't fully explain what the problem is in that short time. I'm actually waiting for a telephone consultation now about my knee, they should be ringing me at 4pm but they need to actually see it.
