I adopted two children who were previously under various teams at Sefton Children’s Social Care. When they were signed off from Children's Social Care and transferred to Adult Social Care (ASC), ASC did not know their history. ASC had a different system and nothing of their history was transferred over. I had to complete a Freedom of Information form to give it to ASC, which took a long time. I’ve spent the past two years trying to find a good social worker. We’ve had five in the past two years. The last two never responded to my emails. One of them closed my **** file without telling us and lied about information. Once they had to track my emails down and found that they were going into the inbox of social workers who had left but no one had told us. Over the past **** years I’ve made **** complaints to Sefton Ombudsman. I’m still not getting responses from the Social Worker. They’re not very nice and at one point they wouldn’t come into my house. I’ve been asking for help since 2021.
