'Just to let you know, due to much pain in the area of osteoradionecrosis in my neck I have been admitted to Aintree Hospital this morning. This follows an emergency appointment with my Consultant this morning.

I have been taking antibiotics to control this pain for over a month. This hasn’t worked so I have been admitted to pursue other treatments to relieve the problems and inflammation. I cannot praise enough the urgent treatment I have received from Consultant Damian Broderick and all the nursing and support staff at Aintree. They have been fantastic and are on top of everything. I am so lucky.'
