Summary: Poor Communication / telephone appts

Hightown Village surgery - The GP contacted me 3 weeks ago and told me to make an appointment. She sent me a link. I clicked on the link and made the appointment for March 2026. The appointment details stated I would get a call between 1 – 6pm. I waited in all afternoon and did not receive a call. The next morning, I phoned the surgery and chose the option for a call back. Unfortunately, I missed the call back. I went on PC24 on-line and made a complaint. I then received a call at 5 pm that evening from the doctor. She explained they had been busy the day before and couldn’t ring. How was I supposed to know? She then asked what she could do for me? I said I don’t know, you asked me to make the appointment to see you!
