Summary: Poor treatment and rude

The Walton Centre - Mr ***** is so rude. He said to me during an appointment ‘If I operate on you, you will go straight to a nursing home’. I waited 22 months for him to say that. I was stunned. There was no offer of pain relief. He was rude throughout the appointment. He also said ‘ Go home and buy a motor scooter, lots of people your age have them’. When we left we had to just sit in the car outside. After this we decided I would go private and I got to see a wonderful surgeon at Spire. He gave a different diagnosis and I have had an x-ray and back to GP. I now have a referral for my hip and I have painkillers. He told me my wait will only be up to 3 months. I will be sending a complaint to the Walton Centre.
