I initially attended Southport A&E but the CT scan was not available on the night I attended. I got a telephone call to say I had been booked an appointment the next day at 9:30 AM at the Ormskirk site. It's on the bus route I know so that was not a problem for me. I got there early at 9:00 AM and they saw me straight away no waiting. Staff were very pleasant they explained everything and that the results would go back to whoever referred me I presumed that would be my GP. Two months later and I still have not received the results. The hospital is OK but there seems to be a problem with communication between the hospital and the GP surgery, no continuity, it is disjointed.
