GP’s are a waste of money. I’ve had 30 years of pain, dozens of GP appointments and no diagnosis until I had a 2 minute scan at a private clinic. GP failed to diagnose sepsis, despite us telling them it was sepsis. Failed to check ketones on 3 call outs. Resulted in a 3 month hospital stay for lack of an insulin shot and antibiotics.

Aintree hospital’s failure to discharge on time caused severe muscle wastage and Healthcare Acquired Infection’s for both my parents. Confined them to bed for weeks, took weeks to arrange diagnostics and more weeks to arrange reablement care.
