It's almost impossible to get an appointment over the phone. I had tried numerous days at 8.30, sometimes was 45th in queue, you wait and are just cut off and told all appointments are gone. If you have caring responsibilities, a job how can you ring at 8.30 am? I was told about the online triage form but this has to be filled in at 7.30am so again the same barriers, why can't this be filled in at any time of day.
When I spoke to someone on the phone eventually they gave me the wrong information, and when I spoke to someone else about it they said it wasn't their problem, I thought this was rude and unprofessional.
There is no information on the website about the 7 day GP service, they tried to encourage me to go to a walk-in, or A&E when it's an issue that needs further investigation and tests.
