Summary: Was left sitting in A&E for 30 hours.
I was left sitting in A&E for 30 hours following a suspected heart attack, it was a horrendous experience. People are treated like they are insignificant. I was stressed and exhausted no food or drink unless you paid extortionate prices at cafe. I was checked every four hours, the nurses were doing their best but they were as stressed as the patients, cattle are treated with more respect than human beings in A&E. There were obviously seriously ill people in the waiting room that were being ignored because there was nowhere to move them too. I should have been admitted but there were no beds, there were 3 people ahead of me waiting to be admitted 2 of them had been there for 3 days waiting
How can this be acceptable in modern day Britain the NHS is shockingly bad
