I have an elderly relative in her 90’s. She was very poorly, rambling and passing small but frequent urine. We were aware it was a water infection. Phoned GP and managed to get through and asked for a home visit. The reception said a doctor would phone. The doctor rang and after a conversation said someone will be with you between 12 – 6. A paramedic attended and not the doctor. Antibiotics were prescribed and she ended up in A&E. She needed stronger antibiotics.
